Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been engineered and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to place materials in a more accurate way. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
