The narrow aisle forklift has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the aisle width. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR models which are utilized for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various control handle and stance configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of loads transported during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great function which maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to lessen operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also called order pickers. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be over 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are generally guided by wire or rail when used in very narrow aisle applications.
