The Combilift company was established by two great engineers, Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. Between them, they had over 40 years of experience in engineering when they founded the company in 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In just more than ten years, Combilift became a leader in the long handling market all over the globe, delivering products to more than 50 markets worldwide. Supported by a trusted international network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into numerous markets all around the globe and using their extensive knowledge and experience, Moffett and McVicar have built machines that had sold 10,000 units by mid 2009 and are in high demand.
Below is a summary of a few of the Combilift units.
C-Series Combilifts are available in an array of mast options. Lift heights up to nine meters and lift capacities up to 25,000 kilograms are available. Available engines are in diesel, electric or battery and LPG or gas and the C-Series Combilifts can work in 210 centimetres wide guided aisles.
The Combilift Straddle Carriers can lift fully loaded containers that may weigh as much as 35 tons. These loads can be transported all over a facility or work site and the Combilift Straddle Carrier could lift fully loaded containers where required, whether it be from the trailer to the ground, from the ground to the trailer, or from trailer to trailer. These machinery are a cost-effective, efficient solution for many haulage, shipping, and distribution businesses, even those kinds with low throughput levels.
The SL-Series side-loaders are machinery capable of driving in four directions because of its multi-directional steering. This hydrostatic, all-wheel drive lift truck can help companies in lots of ways, one of which is to allow facilities to have aisles which are narrower. It also enables the capability to block or bilk stack by driving forward. This highly manoeuvrable kind of truck is often considered to be a superior choice compared to a lot of standard sit-down sideloaders because of the many extra features and capabilities.
