Used Potain Cranes Santa Clara

The company Potain was established in La Clayette, France during 1928. Since that time, the company has grown into a leading producer of cranes. The company is responsible for over 100,000 cranes in operation around the world. At present, the company makes over 60 models from various production plants inside China, France, Portugal, Germany and Italy. The business represents many different product ranges used for various applications. These equipments are sold through an international Manitowoc dealer network.

The Potain family makes 3 different tower crane families. The self-erecting cranes are the smallest kinds in the Potain range. These cranes vary from 1 ton to 7.98 ton capacity. The next size up is the top-slewing cranes which are both higher and bigger. These cranes vary from 7.98 to 64 tons. Furthermore, these are the largest special application cranes which are custom-designed. These models offer a reach capacity of 160 tons.

The company's top innovations include LLC range of hoists, the Vision Cab and the Dialog control system. The company's growing reputation has expanded their appeal with different models. Potain cranes are normally found on traditional construction sites, bridge building projects, power stations, ship-building projects and shipbuilding yards.

Two of Manitowac's largest facilities are based within the United States. Their manufacturing facility is based in Wisconsin. In this state, both crawler cranes and the tower crane parts are constructed within the state of Pennsylvania in the Shady Grove plant. Here boom trucks and mobile cranes are built. Regional offices are located within Mexico and in Brazil. As well, the extensive dealer network found throughout Santa Clara and the United States offers coverage and support unrivalled by any other crane manufacturer.

Manitowoc has dominated the lifting market within North America for over 50 years. They have built their solid reputation with a combination of outstanding support and service and quality products. The popular names of Manitowoc, Grove and national Crane have been top members of their market sectors in the United States, Santa Clara and South and Latin America.
